Numbers

"Numbers recently graced the cover of electronic music bible XLR8R (the first rock band so honored) and have been the recipients of further critical acclaim from the likes of Muzik, Sleazenation, Urb, Vice, Skyscraper, NME and many others. Out on Kill Rock Stars in August 2007, "Now You Are This " promises to build on this critical base, and then some. "Brilliant anti-capitalist critiques are so damn sexy," gushed one enamored UK reviewer, and who are we to argue with love like that?"

"It's fair to say that Numbers don't lack for ideas; every track on this record features its own raft of innovative synthesizer lines or guitar work, as well as great interplay between each. The similarities to Stereolab and Broadcast are only accentuated here compared to their previous work, but the intensity of the distortion and the raw playing lift Now You Are This far above the status of mere imitation."

Feiende flott post-post-punk fra sunny Californ-I-A!

Trioen bestående av Eric Landmark, Indra Dunis og Dave Broekema slapp i august ut sin 4. fullengder, bra kalt “Now You Are This” på det kredible labelet Kill Rock Stars (Stereo Total, The Gossip, Deerhoof ++).
